Warranty & Statutory Rights
Last Updated: October 26, 2023
This policy supplements and does not limit your non-negotiable statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.
1. Your Basic Consumer Rights (Your Statutory Rights)
Under EU and UK consumer law, all products sold by COXCOTA LIMITED must be:
- As Described – match the description, specification, and samples provided on our website.
- Of Satisfactory Quality – be free from material and workmanship defects at the time of delivery.
- Fit for Purpose – be reasonably durable and meet a consumer's normal expectations.
If a product does not meet any of these criteria, you are entitled to certain remedies (depending on the circumstances and time since purchase), which may include: repair, replacement, price reduction, or a full refund (rejection of the contract).
2. Statutory Warranty Against Defects
For consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we offer a default 24-month warranty against material and workmanship defects, calculated from the date of delivery. For other countries, the minimum period stipulated by local consumer law applies.
Warranty Claim Procedure:
- Contact our Customer Service team by writing to warranty@sforne.com. In your message, please provide:
- Your order number.
- The product name and a description of the fault.
- Photos or a video clearly showing the defect (if possible and safe).
- After initial verification, we will send you instructions for returning the product at our cost for detailed assessment.
- Upon confirming a defect exists, we will propose the most appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).
3. Additional Manufacturer's Warranty
Some manufacturers offer their own extended warranty. Information about such a warranty (if applicable) can be found in the product description on the site or within the materials included in the physical shipment. Fulfillment of such a warranty typically occurs directly with the manufacturer, according to their terms.
4. Limitations & Exclusions of Liability
The warranty (both statutory and additional) does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear or ageing of the product.
- Improper use, maintenance, cleaning, or installation contrary to the provided instructions.
- Accidental damage, mishandling, or dropping the product.
- Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons.
Key Hygiene Disclaimer: We affirm the clause from our Returns Policy. For hygiene and safety reasons, intimate/sexual wellness products are not eligible for return, exchange, or complaint-based remedy once the original, sealed packaging has been opened. The above rights and warranties regarding defects remain fully valid – if a product is faulty, you are entitled to the full range of consumer rights.
5. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us directly first to seek an amicable solution to any dispute. As a consumer in the European Union, you also have the right to use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
